Meet the doctor
Jonathan R. Taylor, DMD
Dr. Taylor is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Taylor is happily married to his wife, Shilla, and together, they enjoy participating in activities with their church family. In his free time, Dr. Taylor also enjoys cycling (road and mountain), running, and doing pretty much anything outdoors. He is an avid sports fan as well (particularly for the Bulldogs and Falcons).
Experience
Born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia, Dr. Taylor studied at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky.

After having the dental work performed and my smile restored, I felt like a completely new person. “Outside of dentistry, I enjoy playing soccer, as well as watching soccer, football, and the Atlanta Braves. I also enjoy golf, pickleball, going out on Lake Lanier, and hiking and walking. When I have excess free time, I enjoy reading and playing video games. I attend Gainesville First United Methodist Church, and I am a native of Gainesville, Georgia.”
